Abstract
Background: Cyto-reductive Surgery (CRS) along with yhyhyper-thermic intra-peritoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) is the only potentially curative treatment of pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). Nevertheless, surgery is associated with increased risk of post-operative complications. The objective of this study is to analyse the safety and efficacy of CRS and HIPEC in this setting and to evaluate the prognostic value of histologic grade on survival.
