Abstract
The article is devoted to an urgent problem of public health — transfusion of donor blood and (or) its components. The author examines the issues of the safety of the process of clinical use of blood and (or) its components, complications of transfusion in the light of the regulatory legal acts that came into force on January 01, 2021. The stated information indicates the role of specialists with secondary medical education in the implementation of transfusion.
