Abstract

Subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy is a well-established treatment for allergic respiratory diseases. Once at maintenance doses, injections are typically given every 2 to 4 weeks and doses adjusted due to missed injections. During the Covid-19 pandemic our practice suspended immunotherapy injections from March 17, 2020 through May 5, 2020. Upon resumption, doses were adjusted with an emphasis on trying to keep patients in the same concentration vial as their previous injection. We sought to characterize reactions to restarting injections after prolonged disruption.
