Abstract
Abstract Using coiled tubing (CT) for specialized work, such as logging, selective treatment, drilling, CT completions and CT with gas lift valves installed, requires running long specialized tool strings into live wells. The conventional method of deploying these tools poses several safety hazards and operational problems. A new method for deploying these specialized electrical and fluid tool strings has been developed and addresses the safety and operational concerns of previous methods.
