Abstract
This work aimed to conduct a survey of international literature in the following countries: Brazil, USA, South Africa, and the United Kingdom, focusing on the mental health of higher education students, particularly black students. The methodology employed was a systematic literature review, utilizing specific "Boolean" operators in three search platforms: SciELO, BVS, and BDTD. A total of 705 potentially relevant articles were obtained, of which 17 were used. It is also noteworthy that understanding and researching the theme proposed in this work imply measures to de-alienate the black population in the social sphere and introduce new perspectives on the health of this population.
