Abstract

Background: Schwannomas are benign tumors that arise from the Schwann cells of the nerve fibers, they are found incidentally, usually asymptomatic, in some cases patiens can have pelvic heaviness, numbness or lower lumbar pain and extremely odd. Surgery is diagnostic and therapeutic. With this case we want to describe the precausions we carried out to have a safe surgery and a successful outcome.
