Abstract

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is now widely accepted as a less invasive treatment for early gastric cancer. However, gastric stasis is often caused after ESD even without any stenosis. Since the functional effects on gastric motility after ESD have not well investigated, we prospectively assessed how gastric motility was affected by ESD.
