Abstract

Patients with resected colorectal cancer (CRC) are at risk for metachronous neoplasms and anastomotic recurrent cancer. The National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines recommend that patients after colectomy should receive a colonoscopy at 1year and then, if no advanced adenoma, repeat 3 year, then every 5 year. However, we do not have enough consensus on most suitable interval of colonoscopy after surgery for CRC.
