Abstract

Primary and anastomotic strictures of the distal bowel can be difficult to treat. Surgery is the only option if endoscopic balloon dilatation (EBD) is unsuccessful. We piloted needle knife therapy (NK) for patients who failed EBD. Little is known about the outcome of NK in IBD vs. non-IBD patients in this setting.
