Abstract

As a living organism religion is one of the most influential elements in the world. Therefore, it can be used either for conflict or unity among people. History has many examples of war for the sake of religion. In this context, Christianity has diverse tendencies about war such as Pacifism, Just War and Holy War. In this article we try to examine the roots of Just War theory and its reflections in Christian theology.
