Abstract

Anorexia nervosa (AN) is characterized, in part, by persistent dietary restriction leading to starvation. Eating patterns are associated with longer-term outcome. We have demonstrated that among AN, but not healthy controls (HC), active decision-making around food choice was related to neural activation in the dorsal striatum. We hypothesized that these measures would begin to normalize with weight restoration.
