Abstract

Late-life depression (LLD) is a growing global public health issue due to demographic changes. LLD is associated with cognitive functioning impairment. Deep repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is an emerging treatment for depression in younger adults associated with improved cognition; however, the impact of deep rTMS on cognition in LLD has not been explored.
