Abstract

After ischemic stroke, there may be hemisphere-specific dysfunction of autonomic modulation. Processing of music is also hemisphere-specific and valence-dependent [1]. We hypothesize that patients who experienced a stroke in the middle cerebral artery territory have hemisphere- and valence-dependent changes in autonomic responses to music.
