Abstract

Fitting is the most important property in every categorized shoes. In the designing of shoes with excellent fitting, toe fitting must be quantitatively evaluated. In our previous research, fitting quantitative evaluation method based on toe strain difference between on barefoot and upper in running was proposed and toe validity was checked. The fitting is affected by various conditions, toe geometry difference between last and runner's foot and lace binding condition. In this study toe effects of these conditions on fitting are discussed. Therefore toe above effects can be partially cleared.
