Abstract

In this paper by using tools from bifurcation theory, particularly the Crandall–Rabinowitz bifurcation theorem, the Implicit Function Theorem and the persistence results of degenerate solutions, due to E.N. Dancer, a result will be proved for a S-shaped bifurcation curve of a nonlocal boundary value problem. The main results of this paper partially extend the main results in [11,12] to the nonlocal boundary value problems.
