Abstract
The aHe charge and magnet ic form factors obtained f rom the e-SHe exper imenta l results of McCARTHY et al. (~) have been wen reproduced by K H A ~ A (~) using a sum of Gaussians as the wave funct ion and tak ing into account only the S-state of ~He. However , L~M (a'~), using the three-body w a v e funct ion obtained f rom a per turba t ion solution of the t r inueleon sys tem wi th the Eikemeier -Haekenbroieh potent ia l , has found a small admix tu re of the 5 ' s ta te necessary to fit the min imum in the charge form factor. He has also found i t necessary to consider the magnet ic exchange contributions. We have f i t ted the Stanford da ta using a ground-s ta te wave funct ion comprising 5, 5 ' and D states given in te rms of Gaussian functions.
