Abstract

When my brother and I were in the early years of grammar school, our grandfather told us that we should grow up to be great men — doctors, lawyers, engineers. I went to medical school and my Brother Jim went to law school. Later we thought that the engineer our grandfather talked about was a railroad engineer, which is what he was. My father was a business man, he died at the age of 93; my mother is still alive at the age of 93.
