Abstract
The article presents the research results concerning the intentions of tourists to insure the travel risks from their own funds. It is argued that the majority of health tourists are willing to spend for this purpose from 1 to 2 % of tour price. Financial risk insurance against bankruptcy of the travel agencies has not been widespread and needs marketing support from insurers.
