Abstract

Thailand is a country of Southeast Asia, which is visited annually by up to half a million Russian citizens a year. Despite the current tense situation in the international arena, Thailand continues to maintain normal working and constructive relations with the Russian Federation. In order to preserve the positive attitude of the authorities and the people of this state, Russia needs to step up its foreign policy towards the Kingdom. An important component of such a policy is humanitarian cooperation aimed at building an attractive image of Russia. The article analyzes the current state of the humanitarian influence of this country and provides some possible steps to promote domestic positions in Thailand.
