Abstract
Capitalism in Russia in the nineteenth century had experienced several waves of booming industry. One of them occurred in the 1890s. In that decade, the gradual improvement of economic organization and the development of production technology led to a significant growth of the market. Industrial capitalism has entered a newly developed phase, embodied in numerous joint-stock companies, by importing capital from Britain, Holland, and Germany.
