Abstract

The publication is devoted to the analysis of the factors determining the growth of the importance of the Asia-Pacific region in the system of international relations of the Russian Federation, as well as to the determination of the features of the formation of the Far Eastern vector of modern Russian foreign policy in cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. The dynamics of transformations of the main national interests of the Russian Federation in the integration processes and institutions of the Asia-Pacific region is considered. The analysis of changes in the intensity and direction of Russian priorities in the APR made it possible to break down the process of formation and development of the eastern vector of Russian foreign policy into several stages, each of which is characterized by the specifics of external and internal conditions, the correction of the strategic guidelines of foreign policy, a change in goals and objectives in the regional integration processes of the APR.
