Abstract

Although it has been well documented that women living in rural areas of the United States receive less and poorer quality reproductive healthcare than urban and suburban women, the reasons behind this disparity have received little research attention and are poorly understood. This study explores the issues experienced by low-income rural women in their attempts to access reproductive health care and their perceptions about barriers and facilitators to care.
