Abstract

A 58 year old male underwent simultaneous aortobifemoral and right below knee bypass with autologous great saphenous vein because of critical limb threatening ischaemia. Ten years later, he presented with a pulsatile mass in the right thigh (A, arrow). Computed tomography angiography confirmed an aneurysm of the proximal and mid portion of vein graft with rupture in the midthigh segment (B, arrow). The patient underwent redo reconstruction of the above the knee vein bypass using an 8 mm knitted polyester tube graft (Jotec GmbH, Germany). Bleeding control was established using balloon occlusion catheters.
