Abstract

The analysis takes into account local institutions, adopting an historical and process-oriented perspective. It is shown how institutions influence action itself, voluntary or involuntary. It is shown how the rise of a new actor, the consorzio di autorecupero, affects both the contents and the visions of urban renewal and requalification. It comes with a deep rewriting of the social cohesion at local level, wich seems deeply affected with a minimalist turn which emphasize an individualistic vision and delegitimate the public capacity to develop collective goods.
