In monocondylar fractures of the thighbone, the synthesis, with cannulised screws in titanium, under ampliscopic and arthroscopic ray control, allows a good reduction, an early consolidation and rapid functional recovery. The technique gives an early recovery due to the respect of the vascularization and the lack of consequences of the arthrotomy. In this paper the details of the technique used are summarized.
