Abstract

The present study was aimed at assessing the potential of remote sensing data in providing input to the SCS model developed by USDA and exploring the possibilities of improving the model through implementation of a GIS package. Subsequently, prioritization of watersheds in Tilaiya Catchment area (Bihar, India) based on their run-off potential indices was envisaged.
