Ruling on obedience to parents in divorcing their son's wife, a comparative jurisprudential study

Abstract


 The right of parents is one of the greatest rights after the right of Allah Almighty and the right of His Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, by honoring them, benevolent towards them, obeying them, lowering the wing for them, and giving them precedence over oneself, family and children, without favor or burden. Divorce the wife is included under the general obligation to obey them and not disobey them, or that this is not obligatory for him, even if he is angry and angry with him, and is not considered disobedience? Therefore, scholars differed in the ruling on a child’s obedience to his parents if one or both of them instructed him to divorce his wife.
