Abstract

The article explores the cultural, sociological etc. aspects ofreflections of the image of Rodolfo Valentino, legendary American actor of the 1920 s., in Ukrainian and foreign literature of the 20th century, from Irina Vilde and Yaroslav Galan to Aldous Huxley and Julio Cortazar. Velentino’s influence on the viewers and culture in general was so profound during his lifetime that even official Soviet propaganda could not diminish his popularity.
