Abstract
A diagnosis method is proposed for local separation or uneven loading diseases of slab bridge rubber supports based on modal curvature difference. An ordinary slab bridge is taken as an example and the initial finite element model considering the structural characteristics is established. The conditions of rubber supports damage are simulated, and the modal curvature differences of structure are compared under different conditions. The result shows that the damage location of suspender can be identified by the index of modal curvature difference.
