AbstractCommercial Banking (MIC: SIC: 6022 NAIC: 522110)Royal Bancshares of Pennsylvania is a two bank holding company. Co.'s principal activities are the ownership and supervising of Royal Bank America and Royal Asian Bank, which engages in a general banking business principally in Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, Philadelphia and Berks counties in Pennsylvania and in Northern and Southern New Jersey and Delaware. Additionally, Co. owns a wholly owned non‐bank subsidiary, Royal Investments of Delaware, Inc., which is engaged in investment activities. Co. has three reportable operating segments: Community Banking, Tax Liens, and Equity Investments. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. had total assets of $1.28 billion and total deposits of $770.2 million.
