Abstract

Patients hospitalized in pregnancy are vulnerable due to underlying patient factors and face a potentially prolonged hospital stay. As part of quality improvement (QI) efforts with Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health bundles, we implemented routine screening for social determinants of health (SDOH), substance use, and depressive symptoms in this at-risk population.
