Abstract
Certain widespread forms of cybercrime are believed to be prevalent due to the availability of easy to use 'pre-packaged' software programs designed and intended to be used for disingenuous purposes. Accounts of crime tools being used in cases of online fraud, computer intrusions and data theft are becoming more common. These relatively accessible tools in the bag, quintessential resources used by offenders, function as a crime catalyst making it easier for individuals to engage in crime, likely enticing new offenders and escalating risk on the Internet.
