Abstract

Abstract: A panel of academics and industry leaders came together to discuss the topic of disability and advertising. In Part II of this roundtable, participants discuss many topics: considerations of disability in the creative design process; the need to consider disabled people's experiences with advertising; representing disability with authenticity; casting disabled people in advertising; the power of ads to inform about disabilities as well as accessible technologies; ways to engage the disabled community; and advice to practitioners, faculty, and students.
