Abstract

This discussion about the effects of acid rain on water supplies took place June 7, 1983, during AWWA's annual conference at Las Vegas. Paul A. Schulte, deputy director of AWWA, was moderator. Participants were: J. Doug Kline, now retired, former general manager of the Public Service Commission of Halifax, N.S.; Jean‐Marie Lizotte, president of Enviroservices of Longueuil, Que.; and Floyd B. Taylor, executive director of the New England Water Works Association.
