Abstract
Low-lying excited states in 23Na are described strictly in the framework of the strong coupling rotatiobal model with the account of the Coriolis interaction using a minimum number of free parameters. The calculated level scheme and ground state properties of 23Na are in good agreement with the available experimental data.
