Rotation sector mounted in front of the screen and outside the vacuum chamber for the observation of reflection high-energy electron diffraction

Abstract

A fan-type rotation sector, mounted in front of a reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED) screen and between the screen and a camera, was demonstrated to compensate for the intensity of RHEED patterns. The r1/2 sector is preferable for a digital charge-coupled device camera, whereas the r3 sector is suitable for an analog camera.
