Abstract

Mathematics consists of several scientific groups, including the geometry group. Rotation material is one of the sciences that is included in the transformation geometry group and is a deductive science and is still growing and developing, both in terms of theory and in terms of usage. In line with the development of transformation geometry, there have been many ways or approaches that have been successfully compiled by experts. The problems studied in this research are: How is the image of a curve when it is rotated as far as αº with the center P(m, n) and what are the characteristics of the image. This research uses literature review method, which is to conclude and identify theories that can support this research, especially those related to parameter equations, rotation and others. Using the parameter equation, image the curve with the equation f (x,y) = 0 to be rotated as far as αº with the center of P(m, n) is f (x,y) = 0. The relationship between the line and the equation f (x,y) = 0 with its image, if it is rotated as far as with the center of P(m, n), among others: If a straight line is rotated by the center of P(m, n), then its shadow coincides with the original line.
