Abstract

The article describes a rotating shift schedule that allows 24‐hour coverage of the water treatment plant but also allows workers to have extended time off between shifts and more free weekends. The struggle to produce an effective rotating work schedule was solved by good worker/management communication. A graphic representation of the schedule is included.
