Abstract

SUMMARY Two multipurpose Ficus tree crops, Ficus auriculata Lour, and Ficus glomerata Roxb. were tested seasonally for their rooting response with and without auxin treatment. Exogenous application of auxin substantially increased rooting ability. A higher concentration of auxins, particularly IBA, led to a significantly higher rooting potential.
