Abstract
The decline of injuries and fatalities connected to tractor rollover accidents has beenfavorable in the north European countries, especially in Sweden. This is probablyrelated to legislative measures as well as to information and education. The statisticsshow a relationship between the introduction of rollover protection equipment or cabsand the decline of accidents leading to injuries or fatalities. If other countries hadadopted the Swedish model many lives would probably have been saved.
