Abstract
A system model is given for a non-flat productsrolling mills situation. Several sub-system models are included for primary rolling mills together with references to previous finishing mill and rolling theory publications. Collectively the means is provided for an in-depth study of rolling roll torque and load calculations together with bloom and merchant rolling mills models which have been designed to function as an aid to rolling mill production operations analysis.
