She holds a PhD in Immunology from the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and Melbourne University, a First Class Honours degree in Science and Psychology, winning three University Exhibitions, and a Diploma of Education. Gael is employed as Development Producer, Specialist Factual, ABC TV, where she assesses which programs and projects ABC TV should put to air, in the fields of science, technology, medicine, natural history, education, ethics, religion and indigenous production. Gael appears regularly on ABC TV and radio and as a speaker on the celebrity speakers’ circuit.
