Abstract

We propose a new theoretical approach to describe nucleus using bare nuclear interaction, in which the tensor and short-range correlations are described with the tensor-optimized shell model (TOSM) and the unitary correlation operator method (UCOM), respectively. We use a bare nucleon–nucleon interaction AV8′ and show the spectroscopic results of the He and Li isotopes with TOSM+UCOM, such as the importance of the pn pair correlated by the tensor force and the corresponding high momentum components.
