Abstract

The study aims to explore the role of teachers to reinforce cultural awareness and heritage in the schools in Abu Dhabi. A descriptive and correlational design was employed and 339 teachers were recruited. Questionnaires were distributed using an online platform SurveyMonkey and the data collected was analyzed through SPPS version 22. The results showed a significant correlation between programs and practices organized by teachers (p-value = 0.000), the development of interpersonal roles of students (p-value = 0.000), and role behavior (p-value = 0.000) with cultural and heritage awareness among students to meet the global challenge. Moreover, there was a significant interpersonal role of teachers towards the reinforcement of cultural and heritage awareness among the students to meet the global challenge. The study concluded that there is a significant impact on the role of teachers in the reinforcement of culture and heritage awareness among the students at Abu Dhabi schools.
