Abstract

Strategic planning in physiatric practice is the key to survival in the new health care environment. The basis of strategic planning is the establishment of sound vision that incorporates consideration of the changing environment and the practice’s strengths, weaknesses, and objectives. Key factors involved in strategic planning include participation of all physicians in the practice and consideration of all elements of environmental influences.
