Abstract
Equinus foot, caused by excessive spasticity of the triceps surae, can induce severe complications that alter gait. We assessed the roles of the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles in spastic equinus foot by selectively blocking motor nerves and assessed the functional repercussions of spasticity of these muscles on gait.
