Abstract

Self-Help Groups (SHGs) have become an essential component of India's assistance system for small business owners. These organizations have grown significantly over the past few decades, especially in remote regions where they have shown to be a successful means of granting the availability of funds, training, and market knowledge. Examining how SHGs in India assist small business owners is the goal of this study article. The research paper offers a thorough analysis of a number of studies and scientific papers released on this subject in order to accomplish this goal. The study report comes to the conclusion that SHGs have been extremely important in assisting small business owners in India by giving them access to training, financial resources, and market data. Additionally, SHGs have made it easier for women to start their own businesses and build social capital, especially in remote regions.
