Abstract

The Role of Stakeholders and Future Research and Policy Needs for the United States workshop was part of the First International Drug Information Association Conference, which took place on 16-17 October 2006 at the College Park Campus of the University of Maryland (Adelphi, MD). The workshop was cochaired by Johanna Dwyer and Marguerite Klein and included the following panelists: Maria Oria, Daniel Fabricant, Robert Garfield, David Klurfield, and Mary Ellen Sanders. Richard Oberhelman, James Heimbach, Gregor Reid, Freddie Ann Hoffman, David Snydman, Charles Good-worth, Carmen Tamayo, and members of the audience joined the panelists in the ensuing discussion.
