Abstract

We present the results of resistive magnetohydrodynamic calculations for the final stage of X-pinch plasma compression, where we use our model of nonideality in multiply ionized dense plasma proposed before. Introducing this model into the code made provides the possibility to find the earlier inaccessible range of plasma parameters and obtain a pattern of X-ray burst and hot spot explosion qualitatively adequate to available observations. These data show the crucial significance of the necessity of taking into account the effects of nonideality in electron transfer processes for the description of X-pinch dynamics at the final stage of compression.
