Abstract
Immunoglobulins of various types were effective in promoting fat globule clustering and creaming in milk. Fat globule agglutinin preparations isolated from the surface of clustered fat globules were found to contain immunoglobulins. On the basis of these findings, the mechanism for the Brucella Ring Test is postulated to involve adsorption of specific agglutinins on the fat globules in such a way that the reactive sites of the Brucella agglutinins are available to combine with Brucella cells.
